Ben Shephard, Liberty Poole, Olivia Bowen, and Beverly Knight are set to walk the star-studded red carpet at Pride of Birmingham Awards 2022.
The prestigious ceremony, which will honour local unsung heroes, will take place at Birmingham University's Great Hall on Monday night, with former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh returning once again to host the ceremony.
This year’s inspiring and courageous winners will be honoured by famous faces who are set to attend the emotional Pride of Britain event, as they pay tribute to those who have risked their lives - or defeated the odds - to make a difference.
Good Morning Britain co-host Ben Shephard will be heading the bash, along with former Love Island and Dancing on Ice star Liberty Poole.
She’ll be joined by another Love Island alum Olivia Bowen, and the heavily pregnant star will be attending the bash with her husband Alex.
Award-winning singer Beverley Knight, who hails from Wolverhampton, will be in attendance, as well as TV and screen icons Dame Maureen Lipman and David Bradley.
The Vamps guitarist and singer Connor Ball, who is competing in this year's Dancing On Ice, will be delighting fans at the event, just days after suffering a brutal injury during the ITV show.
Comedians Adil Ray and Tim Vine are also set to hit the red carpet, alongside Strictly Come Dancing stars Amy Dowden and Rhys Stephenson.
Former singer Kym, who will be hosting the bash, said she’s looking forward to hosting the event after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid pandemic.
“I'm so excited about Pride of Birmingham. It's been two years since we have been able to get together properly for these awards, so I know it's going to be a fantastic night. But what makes it truly special is the winners,” she told the Birmingham Mail.
“They are so inspirational and courageous, their stories really touch your heart, and I can't wait to meet them.”
Olympic athletes Emily Lewis, Mark Lewis-Francis, Richard Whitehead and Sophie Hahn will also be on hand to honour the local heroes at the eagerly-awaited bash.
