How about the final? “I expect the toughest match, whoever is across the net from me,” Djokovic says. “[The semi-final is] going to be a nice match for me to watch, with my feet up, popcorn and some drinks!”
A couple of ridiculous stats to highlight his cold-eyed ruthlessness on the biggest stages: Djokovic has now reached 36 grand slam finals, getting to the final in half of all the slams he has ever played. Also, in slam matches against a home player, his record is now won 30, lost one. No prizes for guessing the one.

Djokovic speaks. He thanks the crowd for “supporting both players” – he says he is still “trying to work as hard as the young guys … grand slams are the ones that motivate me to play my best tennis.”
“Things were going smoothly for me, and then he broke back in the third set, it was anyone’s set,” he tells James Blake (the tennis player, not the electro crooner). “Discipline is everything. Will power, clarity … I’ve been blessed to play this sport for so many years, but I still feel I have something in my legs left, something else to give.”
