In news many Scots will probably find surprising, Ben Nevis has been named as one of the most dangerous natural wonders from around the world.
The highest pinnacle in the UK was named alongside Everest and Mount Kilimanjaro on the list. The study by the holiday comparison site Holidu, looked at which landmarks around the world, which are most popular with tourists are also the "most dangerous".
A spokesperson for the firm said: "It goes without saying that many of us enjoy a little bit of a thrill... but at what cost? Holidu has now investigated which natural wonders pose the biggest risk to tourists. The study shines a light on those that require handling with a little more care."
