Ben Foden 's wife Jackie has revealed that she has suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage as she hit back at a cruel online troll.
The 37-year-old American wife of the retired rugby player was upset about remarks made about her appearance on social media, so decided to give some truths about it and the tragic reason.
Jackie hit back at the troll, telling them: "I was pregnant for a while so I haven't had Botox in a while, just had a miscarriage last week, and my two-year-old has sleep regression so I haven't slept in a million years. I apologise if my old haggard appearance bothers you."
She then gave a damning conclusion, telling the troll: "I notice you don't have any photos of yourself though... but you're probably just too ridiculously good looking for people to even have the privilege of witnessing."
For Ben, 37, and Jackie, this was the first time that they had publicly revealed they were expecting a baby, which was tragically lost.
The couple are already parents to their two-year-old daughter Farrah.
Ben also shares daughter Aoife, 10, and son Tadhg, seven, with former The Saturdays singer Una Healy, who he divorced in 2018.
A year and a half after his marriage to Una broke down, Ben married Jackie in January 2020 just two days after his divorced was finalised.
Ben admitted later that he had cheated on Una, who was left devastated by his infidelity.
Speaking about it, he said: "I was the one who committed adultery... It's not ideal but we're very amicable."
Jackie opened up about her relationship with Ben earlier this year and said that she has no concerns about Ben cheating on her.
Speaking to The Sun, Jackie said: "People perceive Ben as some slimy, habitual cheater and it’s really not who he is. I don’t think Ben could possibly cheat on me.
"We have our passwords saved in each other’s phones, we use each other’s laptops, we track each other on Find My Friends. I could go through his Instagram right now if I wanted to.
"We have a very honest and open relationship. We don’t lead separate lives. It’s frustrating that Ben’s cheating is brought up constantly."
