“Essentially there’s just no benefit from me concerning myself with that,” says Foakes, of the possibility that, through little fault of his own, he could be watching from the sidelines when the Ashes begin at Edgbaston on June 16. “I think the easiest way I’ve found to deal with it is not dealing with it – just not worrying about it.
