Scotland youngster Ben Doak has signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool.
The 17-year-old put pen to paper on the deal to further extend his spell with the Reds, which started in the summer of 2022 when he moved to England from Celtic.
To date, Doak has made six senior appearances for Liverpool, with his debut coming as a substitute in a Carabao Cup tie against Derby County at Anfield last November.
A Premier League bow followed for the Scotland U21 international on Boxing Day with a cameo in a 3-1 win over Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Doak figured heavily in the Reds’ pre-season preparations this summer, with the youngster part of the squads for the trips to Germany and Singapore and producing a number of impressive showings.
He subsequently grabbed his first senior goal for the club with a clinical header in the 4-0 win over Leicester City and featured in all five of the summer fixtures.
The attacker then appeared off the bench in Liverpool’s 2023-24 Premier League opener away at Chelsea.
