Ben Doak has put pen to paper on his first pro deal at Liverpool.
The former Celtic starlet was rewarded for his fine form in the Reds' youth system this season with a top team debut against Derby County last midweek in the Carabao Cup. He followed that up with a place on the bench for the 3-1 win over Southampton this weekend - but never pick up any further minutes and was an unused sub.
It is a meteoric rise for the youngster who was handed his Celtic first-team debut by Ange Postecoglou before his departure. He featured in two games against Dundee United and Rangers before the lure of joining the English Premier League big guns was too much. He's earned rave reviews for his performances in the UEFA Youth League this season scoring four goals and assisting a further four - including hitting the net against the Light Blues.
