Ben Davies has revealed the Rangers 'wow' factor that has left him wanting even more as he penned a long-term deal from Liverpool.
The former Celtic transfer target joined Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men on a four-year deal as he gets set to replace outgoing Calvin Bassey, with a move to Ajax to be announced any time now in mega money transfer. The ex-Preston stopper was unveiled to the home support last night during the clash with West Ham alongside fellow new signing Malik Tillman after putting pen to paper.
The 26-year-old admitted to being left in awe after a tour of the stadium as he hailed his move to Rangers at this stage of his career as the 'best place possible for me'. With the high demands and standards set, he can't wait to get started and for the best possible version of himself as a player to flourish. It's a quick start for the defender with Livingston in the Premiership opener coming next weekend and the start of the journey to reach the Champions League beginning early next month against Belgian outfit Union Saint-Gilloise.

Speaking to Rangers TV, the new signing said: “The size of the club, everyone said to me I wouldn’t realise it until I got here. I’ve just done a tour now and it’s incredible.
"I’m just about to turn 27 and I want to turn what I think has been a good career into a great one. I’ve got my best years in front of me now.
“All my career, I’ve looked to take different opportunities. Going out on loan, taking moves when they've come about and not just staying in my comfort zone.
"That’s going to help me going forward. I think this is the best place possible for me. The expectation, levels and standards that the club has are exceptional and that can only bring the best out of me.
“I’ve obviously seen Ibrox on TV but this is the first time I’ve been here. It’s like when you first go up the steps when you go to your first game. Wow. And that was with an empty stadium so I’m looking forward to the fans coming in and the rest of the season.”
