Chelsea fans were given their first glimpse of pre-season training at Cobham this weekend as the Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ben Chilwell were two of the first-teamers present in the first group back.
This weekend will see Chelsea's preparations for the 2022/23 begin with a group of players that were not involved in any internationals last month. A second group containing those players will join up with the rest on the ninth before jetting off to the USA for a tour of the states that will end with a game against Premier League rival Arsenal.
A short video was posted on the club's official Twitter account on Saturday morning, filmed by Loftus-Cheek walking out into the Cobham sun with Chilwell tagging along.

Both expressed their excitement for pre-season with Loftus-Cheek proclaiming "feeling good, feeling ready" with Chilwell expressing similar.
Chilwell has recently recovered from the ACL tear that kept him out from late November last term, returning off the bench in the closing minutes of the 2021/22 season at home to Watford and has continued his rehab in the weeks since. Whilst Loftus-Cheek enters a summer where if he remains, will aim to gain more minutes after being used as a sporadic figure under Thomas Tuchel last term.
Chelsea kick-off their pre-season in Las Vegas in just over a fortnight against Club America, under a month before the official start of the Premier League season away to Everton on the 5th of August.
