Blackburn confirm Ben Brereton Diaz transfer stance with 'best choice' claim amid Everton links
Blackburn Rovers boss Jon Dahl Tomasson has revealed what it will take for his side to sell Ben Brereton Diaz during the January transfer window.
The in-form Chile international, who is out of contract at Blackburn at the end of the season, has been continually linked with a move to Everton following a host of impressive displays. The forward bagged 22 goals in 37 Championship games last season.
As reported by the ECHO earlier this month, Everton have a list of players drawn up to target during the January transfer window. Strengthening Frank Lampard’s attacking options is the priority, with the club exploring the potential to sign more than one forward player.

Lampard told the ECHO preparations for the window had been ongoing for some time, and that he, and director of football Kevin Thelwell, who he gets on well with, have a list of targets and are in constant communication over their plans.

Everton new stadium hits another 'milestone moment' as 'game-changer' claim made
Everton have revealed that the first full-span roof truss has been completed at the club’s new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.
In what is being described as another 'milestone moment' in the development by the club, the third 100-tonne connecting piece was lifted into position in the north stand on Tuesday morning.
The lift came just 35 days after the first roof installation took place, and just six months after the first steel super-column was bolted into the north stand foundations. Each truss, which initially rest on temporary support trestles built into the stand, consists of three sections assembled at ground level and are lifted into place individually.
The club have also revealed that each completed roof truss will have clear spans of between 150 and 175 metres, with the depth of the trusses varying between four metres deep at the supports, to around 11.5m at mid-span. Temporary steel bracing is helping to secure the trusses, until the whole truss assembly and roof barrel are complete and able to support their own weight.
