Frank Lampard could be in for a busy week as he tries to bring more fresh blood into his Everton squad that is noticeably short on attacking options.
With Richarlison now at Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea setting their sights on Anthony Gordon, the Blues boss is busy identifying the right type of player - at the right price - to take the burden off Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Neal Maupay has joined the Blues from Brighton, but time is running out to get any other deals done. The transfer window will 'slam shut' on Thursday, so here's a round-up of the latest rumours circulating on the information super highway today.

Who?
Ben Brereton Diaz.
Where?
What?
Everton will get a deal over the line for Ben Brereton Diaz this week - that's the view of journalist Jacque Talbot who shared his thoughts in an interview with Give Me Sport.
Blackburn Rovers are believed to want £15million for their prolific striker - a fee that is yet to be met by any interested party - and with only 12 months left on his contract at Ewood Park, they will be keen to cash in now.
The Chilean international scored 22 goals in 37 Championship appearances last season and has also attracted interest from Newcastle United, Leeds United, West Ham United and Bournemouth.
When asked who he felt Everton's number one target was, Talbot said: "I think that’s Brereton Diaz, of Blackburn. I imagine that will get done, which makes a lot of sense.”
Who?
Miguel Almiron.
Where?
Football Insider.
What?
Everton could make a late move for Newcastle's Miguel Almiron, according to 'transfer insider' Dean Jones.
But if the Paraguayan midfielder is to make the switch to Merseyside, the Blues will likely have to meet the £60million release clause in his contract, unless they can negotiate a deal with the Magpies.
Speaking to Give Me Sport about the 28-year-old, Jones said: "There is some interest here and Almiron looks certain to be leaving Newcastle. Everton need options and he’s one that they’ve got on their radar just in case it can happen.”
Who?
Idrissa Gana Gueye.
Where?
Paul Brown / Give Me Sport.
What?
Everton are still working on a deal to bring midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye back to Goodison Park. The 32-year-old is surplus to requirements at Paris Saint Germain and has reportedly already agreed terms with the Blues, but striking a financial deal with the French Champions has been the stumbling block, according to journalist Paul Brown.
Speaking to Give Me Sport, he said: “Everton are ready to pull the trigger on that. They have a deal agreed with the player. The problem is whether he can negotiate the sort of exit he wants from PSG.
“That’s been a problem so far and I don’t think anyone knows whether PSG will ultimately agree to let him go under the terms that he’d like to. I think it’s a waiting game there essentially.”
