A woman was "traumatised" after seeing her dog "ripped to pieces" by another pet.
Adelle had just started taking her family dog, Bailey, for a walk on Clint Way in Edge Hill when she saw another dog run out of a home. The dog, which the 41-year-old said looked like an American bulldog, start attacking the 12-year-old Shih Tzu in the street.
Adelle, who did not want to give her surname, said despite trying to halt the dog's attack by grabbing and hitting it, it would not stop "ragging" Bailey. The Shih Tzu was left dead in the middle of the street, but the dog wouldn't not stop attacking the 12-year-old's body.
