Beloved dog put down after being stung by 'Britain's most dangerous plant'

An owner has been left heartbroken by the death of their beloved dog after she was stung by 'Britain's most dangerous plant' in a local park.

Stuart Good, 61, had taken Staffordshire Bull Terrier Ella for a walk with his friend Clive Ransom, 49, round Port Sunlight River Park, Liverpool last month.

After running into undergrowth Ella yelped out in pain, however it wasn't until they arrived home that Stuart noticed a blister "the size of a pound coin" under the her leg, the Mirror reports.
