Beloved seaside Clontarf restaurant Fish & Meat Bone has announced that it will close after a "very hard" two years for the hospitality industry.
The restaurant, which is located on the Clontarf Road near the wooden bridge, took to social media to announce the news, revealing that the focus will shift to its sister business Bay Restaurant, which is also located in Clontarf.
Addressing customers, management revealed that the "shutters are going down" as the restaurant's time in business is set to "come to an end". A closing date has not been announced.

"The last two years have been very hard for our industry, trading with restrictions and closures have been extremely challenging and we didn't make this decision lightly," they said.
"We have been very lucky to make the most amazing memories and also the most amazing friends. We would like to thank all of our customers who visited us over the last few years."
Restaurant owners went on to explain that some of the customer favourite dishes from Fish & Meat Bone will be transferred to the menu of Bay Restaurant amid the closure.
They added that any customers who are in possession of gift vouchers for Fish & Meat Bone in Clontarf will be able to use them for the next six months in Bay Restaurant. Members of Fish & Meat Bone's loyalty club can also use their points in Bay Restaurant.
"Once again, thank you for your support and hope to see you soon in Bay," they added.
The restaurant is known among locals for fish and meat dishes such as Chicken Supreme, Fish and Chips and King Prawns.
Customers were quick to offer their support and condolences for the restaurant's team, with one Instagram user writing: "Very sorry to hear this news! Lovely restaurant Wishing all your staff best wishes for the future."
Another said: "Gutted - we were regulars there on a Sunday and the kids loved it! So sorry and best of luck to all the lovely staff."
