The beloved British children’s animated series Mr Benn is set to be adapted into a live-action film, with Bafta-nominated filmmaker Kirk Jones confirmed to write and direct.
The adaptation draws from David McKee's cherished 1971 creation, which followed its bowler-hatted protagonist on extraordinary adventures. Mr Benn, an ordinary man, would step into a magical fancy dress shop and emerge into different worlds.
