The Bellator 296 main card got started with a bang, courtesy of Thibault Gouti.
The Frenchman blasted Kane Mousah with a nasty right hook that sent him crashing down to the canvas. Gouti (16-6 MMA, 1-1 BMMA) picked up the knockout win at the 3:58 mark of Round 2. The lightweight bout opened the main card of Bellator 296, which took place on Friday at Accor Arena in Paris.
Gouti and Mousah (14-4 MMA, 3-2 BMMA) were engaging in a very competitive fight. Mousah was having plenty of success in the second, pressing Gouti with volume, but was countered by Gouti’s nasty right hand.
