We kissed goodbye to dry January last week, but if you’re still in the market for something saintly, Bella Hadid has just the answer, apparently.
Kin Euphorics, co-owned by the supermodel and Jen Batchelor, has just announced that they’ll now be shipping to the UK.
Joining the raft of wellness drinks available such as Trip and Three Spirit, the US brand wants to see if we’ve a taste for the no-ABV options. Originally founded in 2021, Hadid joined the ‘functional beverage’ brand in 2021, and since telling Vogue it can make you ‘feel better for a lifetime’, it’s touted as the model’s personal alternative to drinking.
Made up of a range of 6 refreshments designed for different occasions, they’re mostly filled with so-called ‘energy transforming’ adaptogens ‘to help you manage stress’, nootropics ‘to support brain cognition’, ‘spirit centering’ botanicals, and caffeine. Available in lightly sparkling cans, spritzes and made-to-mix distillates, each promises to ‘help tune your mood and activate the power, energy, and peace that is already in you’, according to brand messaging.
The High Rhode, for example, is the brand’s most obvious alternative to alcohol. Named ‘social magic’, the herby substance is made to feature in cocktails or to be sipped with sparkling waters, and contains what has become known as ‘synthetic alcohol’ substance GABA, which some say can mimic the effects of a couple of drinks but without the hangover.
And if you’re wondering how the supermodel achieves her trademark glow each morning, apparently it’s with a lightly sparkling can of Actual Sunshine. Pineapple, cardamon, turmeric and saffron flavoured, with 33mg of caffeine, added collagen and vitamins C, D3 and Zinc, it’s designed to help drinkers ‘rise and glow from within.’
Whatsmore, the Dream Light, featuring reishi mushroom and melatonin promises a better night’s sleep by encouraging the you to ‘quiet your mind, release what’s beyond your control, and help you reach a natural circadian rhythm’.
And if it works for Bella…
