Edward Iordanescu, son of Anghel who led the country to the 1994 World Cup quarter-finals, proclaimed "a great day for Romania" but even better could be ahead if they stick to the gameplan.

Belgium vs Romania live stream: team news
Belgium have no fresh injury worries going into this fixture, with Thomas Meunier, Axel Witsel and Jan Vertonghen all now available after recovering from knocks. Youri Tielemans is also pushing for a start ahead of Orel Mangala in defensive midfield.
Yannick Carrasco is no left-back, meaning Vertonghen is an option, but the 37-year-old's creaking limbs probably preclude that. Johan Bakayoko may get the nod on the wing after looking sprightly, but Kevin De Bruyne and Lukaku will keep their starting spots.
Romania may replace Florinel Coman with Valentin Mihaila after the Parma wide man impressed after coming on down the left wing against Ukraine, but otherwise Iordanescu is expected to name an unchanged line-up.
That means Denis Dragus, the scorer of the third last time out, should lead the line up front, with Tottenham defender Radu Dragusin at centre-back.
