Belfast shooting: Man dead as police respond to scene at Donegal Celtic social club and investigation launched

Police are at the scene of an incident in west Belfast where a man was shot dead on Sunday afternoon.

Parts of the Suffolk Road have been closed and a number of diversions are currently in place.

It is understood that it happened at the Donegal Celtic social club, Belfast Live reports. The club was reportedly packed with people watching football on tv when the shooting took place this afternoon.
