A Belfast man has been dubbed "Lord of the Pigeons" after he was spotted feeding the birds at City Hall in an unusual mask.
Pearse Moreland, who turns 28 on July 27, was seen feeding the pigeons at Belfast City Hall on Sunday morning wearing a large pigeon mask, much to the amusement of passersby.
Speaking to Belfast Live, he said that the mask was given to him as a birthday present due to his fondness for feeding the birds which began during lockdown restrictions as a way for him to get out of the house and he has recently returned to doing so as a way of helping him to relax.

He also claims it is a great way to help with a hangover on a Sunday morning.
Pearse said: "I did it for a bit when the initial lockdown restrictions were being lifted as a reason to get out of the house and when everything started going back to normal I stopped doing it.
"Around early May this year, I was hungover on a Sunday, very bored and decided to get myself out of bed and on my bike for a bit of fresh air to help the hangover and saw some bird seed in the Poundland by Victoria Square and decided to feed the pigeons at City Hall and really enjoyed the experience.
"It's surprisingly therapeutic and I see it as meditative, so I do it when I'm hungover or if I need to unwind a bit. I live about a 10-minute bike ride from town so it's pretty easy to do.
"I get lots of tourists and people with kids coming up to me and I enjoy talking to them and often get told I've made their day, which is an amazing feeling; all my friends and family love all the videos I post of the birds on my instagram (DrunkenDogSelfies) so I'm known as the crazy bird man.
"It's my birthday on July 27 and my friend gave me the bird mask as a present and I thought I need to wear it while feeding the birds.
"Everyone who knows me knew right away it was me in the photo."
