A popular Belfast restaurant has been awarded the top spot in Northern Ireland at the National Restaurant Awards 2022.
Michelin Star establishment OX Belfast, located on Oxford Street, beat out competition across the country to be named 'Best Restaurant in Northern Ireland' at the ceremony on June 13.
The Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards is BigHospitality’s annual countdown of the top 100 restaurants in the UK as voted for by the UK’s leading chefs, restaurateurs and food writers.

OX also came in at number 85 on the top 100 list and was the only restaurant from Northern Ireland to feature.
According to their website, OX offers "dining with seasonal creativity".

The Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards was determined by More than 200 industry experts who voted for their best restaurant experiences over the past 18 months across the British Isles, taking into consideration not only the food, but the staff, atmosphere, music, design and price.
The academy of voters is made up of chefs, restaurateurs, food writers and critics and other food experts and gastronomes.
BigHospitality is the UK’s leading online publication for restaurateurs and chefs and publishes the Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards list.
