Residents in Belfast were evacuated from their building after an early morning arson attack on Wednesday.
Detectives are appealing for information following the fire at a residential property in the Carlisle Parade area just after 4am today. Police attended the address along with colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.
PSNI Detective Sergeant Alexander said: “Thankfully the occupant of the property was not at home at the time; however the other residents of the building had to be evacuated while our Fire Service colleagues extinguished the blaze.
