There are 84 films being shown for free on a big screen in Newcastle city centre this summer.
Two films will be shown per day on the Screen on the Green, in Old Eldon Square, just off Blackett Street, Newcastle. The programme is a mix of blockbusters, award winners, family favourites and musicals. Entry is completely free and deck chairs are provided.
Oscar winners Belfast, Dune and King Richard are all on the bill, as is Geordie cult favourite, Goal, the film about a Mexican footballer who gets discovered by Newcastle United.

The latest Spiderman; Spider-Man: No Way Home, and cinematic classics including Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Forrest Gump, and Mrs Doubtfire will be shown this summer. Mondays will be devoted to musicals including Disney's Encanto and Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again.
Sing 2, Soul and Frozen are on the bill for younger viewers. Recent releases including Spencer, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and action-adventure, Uncharted are top picks from the later afternoon screenings.
Weekday screenings will be at 12pm and 6pm, with weekend films shown at 12pm and the afternoon film at the earlier time of 3pm. The full schedule has been released to allow people to plan their visits and there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
