Belfast's annual Christmas market made a welcome return to this city on Saturday marking the official countdown to the festive season.
Eager customers queued to get the first sights and samples of the tradings on offer this year as the market was officially opened by Q Radio presenters Jordan and Ibe.
This year’s Belfast Christmas Market has seen the return of many visitor favorites, such as bite size Dutch pancakes, mouthwatering Ostrich burgers and of course the all-famous Bratwurst Sausage.

With over 100 stalls (including gifts, crafts, fashion, art, food) there is something on offer for everyone. Joining the traders offering products and food from around the world, 40% of this year’s traders are from Northern Ireland.
The Food Court with its bench-style seating offers a place to sit down and enjoy the sights, smells and sounds of the market while getting into the Christmas spirit. There’s plenty for all the family too, including the big man in red, who will be resident in his newly designed grotto and you are looking for an adrenaline rush the much-loved carousel and vintage Helter Skelter are back, offering stunning views right across the market.
The Belfast Christmas Market attracts visitors from across Europe and the UK and has become a significant contributor to the local economy, regularly attracting over one million visitors and resulting in an economic impact to the city in and around £75m, demonstrating the citywide benefit.
Belfast Christmas Market will be at the City Hall from 12noon on Saturday, November 19 until 6pm on 22 December.
Opening hours are:
Monday – Wednesday 10am – 8pm
Thursday – Saturday 10am – 10pm
Sunday 12noon – 6pm
