The cheating allegations came forward against Levine, 43, after Sumner Stroh, 23, took her own claims public in a now-viral TikTok where she said that she had had a year-long affair with the Maroon 5 frontman.
Stroh did not provide any dates to back up her claims but she shared screenshots of Instagram messages attributed to the musician.
She opened up her video by saying: "I was having an affair with a man who was married to a Victoria's Secret model.
"At the time, I was young, I was naive. And I mean, quite frankly, I feel exploited. I wasn’t in the scene like I am now. So I was definitely very easily manipulated."
She claims that Levine and herself had seen each other for "about a year" but had not spoken for a while before the musician returned with a shock message on Instagram.
The shocking message that Levine allegedly made his return with was that he wanted to name his latest child Sumner after his mistress.
It read: "Ok serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s a boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You ok with that? DEAD serious." He then added a struggling shoulders emoji.
After the scandal swept the internet, Levine denied cheating on his pregnant wife although admitted to crossing a line.
Taking to his Instagram Story to address the scandal, Adam wrote: "I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life.
"In certain instances, it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.
"My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naïve and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make.
“I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together." Do you have a story to sell? Get in touch with us at webcelebs@mirror.co.uk or call us direct at 0207 29 33033
