CNBC anchor Becky Quick is a lovely lady who appears in the public eye, which as any woman in the same position knows, can invite a lot of ... interesting attention.
Quick, who has over 326,000 Twitter followers, has gotten quick on the draw with people asking strange things of her on public forums over the course of her 22 years with CNBC. She displayed her prowess for just such a situation on the morning of June 21 in reply to a Twitter user making an icky inquiry.
The “Squawk Box” co-anchor has interviewed the titans of finance, from Warren Buffett to Jamie Dimon, and three U.S. presidents too. Before CNBC, she was a reporter for The Wall Street Journal. She has real bona fides.
But this question came out of left field.
"Could you please answer for my wife Tina, what bar soap you use," user poosieboy tweeted at Quick.
"Sorry, but I don't believe "Tina" wants to know. You sound like the guy who keeps asking for pictures of my feet," Quick shot back.

The inquiry actually got weirder in the comments, which Quick smartly declined to dive into as many of her other followers roasted the user as "gross" and "creepy."

Poosieboy did his best to defend himself, which didn't really garner any sympathy.
