Enniskillen is set to host the largest global celebration of famed Irish writer Samuel Beckett as the Happy Days Enniskillen International Beckett Festival rolls into town for its 10th year.
The festival returns to the town after a three year absence due to the pandemic taking place in the Co Fermanagh town from 21-25 July with a number of Beckett inspired performances.
A packed schedule sees a number of famous faces making an appearance, including one of the town's favourite sons, actor Adrian Dunbar. The Line of Duty actor directs a unique performance of Ohio Impromptu on Devenish Island, with performances across the whole weekend.

The intimate audience of 48 will be transported by boat at sunset to Devenish Island, for a 12 minute play with two actors – Vincent Higgens and Lalor Roddy – who doesn’t speak a word in the entire play.
A number of other performances of Beckett's plays will take place across Co Fermanagh this weekend, including the Marble Arch Caves as well as Beckett's old school.
Speaking ahead of the event festival founder Seán Doran welcomed the return of the 'truly special' festival to Enniskillen.
“After a three-year enforced silence by Covid, we are delighted to be bringing back to Enniskillen its unique and only international festival, Happy Days," Seán said.
"It is a truly special festival, attracting not only international names and faces to perform but also attracting audiences from across the globe.
“We are particularly thrilled to be remounting for our 10 th Anniversary three ‘Made in Fermanagh’ classics of the last 10 years – Walking for Waiting for Godot , Ohio Impromptu and INFERNO-NOT I. These bespoke productions define this destination festival from other summer festivals.
"Not only are they are site specific to Fermanagh – using the beautiful Fermanagh landscapes to heighten the experience of Beckett’s plays - but they involve experiential travelling to the event by audiences whether it is on foot for Waiting For Godot, by boat for Ohio Impromptu and INFERNO-NOT I is truly unique."
