Bebe Rexha has given a glimspe of the painful-looking injuries she sustained after someone threw a mobile phone at her face during a concert.
The I’m Good (Blue) singer, 33, was performing at the Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York on Sunday as part of her Best F’n Night of My Life tour when someone in the crowd launched the device towards her.
The alleged assailant, Nicolas Malvagna of New Jersey, was taken into custody, while Rexha received medical treatment backstage and was later taken to a local hospital.
Rolling Stone reports that Rexha’s mother told them that her daughter had required three stitches.
Meanwhile, videos of the shocking incident have been widely shared on Twitter.
Now, the US songstress has taken to social media to let fans know how she is doing after the traumatic event.

On Instagram on Monday, Rexha shared two close up selfies, showing an extremely bruised left eye with tape over her eyebrow after being cut.
Sporting a black hoodie, she held up her thumb and gave a slight smile to the camera as she assured her 10.7m followers “I’m good”.

She also shared a clip on TikTok where she removes a pair of huge black sunglasses revealing her injuries.
She wrote: “I’m okay you guys,” followed by a red love heart emoji.
