It's official – after 18 appearances at the men's Tour de France stretching from its debut in 1958 to last year's stage 16 summit finish, Mont Ventoux will host the Tour de France Femmes peloton for the first time next season.

The Giant of Provence will take pride of place as the centrepiece of the queen stage of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes route, with stage 7 set to be a decisive GC showdown in the fifth edition of the modern women's Tour.
