Newcastle United fans have given their seal of approval to their new sponsor along with next season's home shirt. Following the leak earlier in the week, the Magpies confirm the latest iteration of the famous black-and-white stripes and their new multi-year deal with Sela on Friday.
The home shirt for the 2023/2024 season was modelled by Bruno Guimaraes and Kieran Trippier, along with Newcastle United Women star Daisy Burt. The new strip will go on sale in the club shop and on the club's website from 8am on Saturday.
Darren Eales hailed the lucrative deal, outlining his belief that Newcastle have found the 'perfect' commercial partner in Sela. The Saudi events firm have replaced Fun88, with the betting firm now operating as the club's official Far East betting partner.
Newcastle's announcement of their agreement with Sela was soon followed by the unveiling of the new home shirt. Here is how the Toon Army reacted to the kit on social media.
@lblackburn_18: "Even better with the CL badges on."
@BLACK7WHITESwan: "It's a beautiful shirt that like."
@LyinFallon: "I haven't bought a shirt in twenty years, sorely tempted by this beaut."
@DanMoore851: "Now that's what I'm talking about"
@alanspooner: "How good does this look. Especially with a black and white sponsor on it."
@palmtreegeordie: "Fair play. That’s beautiful!!!"
