A Beat the Chasers contestant's "heartbreaking" exit left fans pleading "no".
Bradley Walsh welcomed a new batch of quizzers for Thursday's edition of the popular spin-off show. Beat the Chasers gives players the option to take on between two to five of the quiz genius'.
Those who select the higher number of Chasers plays for a larger cash prize. Frankie was the third contestant on tonight's show and accumulated £3,000 in his cash-builder.

He decided to take on Jenny Ryan, Shaun Wallace and Mark Labbett for an overall £15,000. However, the quizzer was devastated when he was beaten by The Chasers with just one second remaining.
Bradley said: "I'm gutted for you here mate. Wow, it couldn't have been much closer."
The Vixen agreed it was "heartbreaking" and viewers following the show on Twitter took to the social media platform and said the finish left them screaming at the television.
Alice tweeted: "I just yelled “NO!”"
Nadia commented: "Oh my word.. gutted is an understatement!!!"
Kloe said: "Never have I been so devastated about a loss."
Maxine posted: "Ah poor frankie could of cried for him heartbreaking he looked so upset"
