Bears rookie DE Dominique Robinson generated 3 hustle stops in his impressive NFL debut, the most by a rookie defensive lineman in a game in the NGS era (since 2016).

It’s rare for an NFL team to land an instant-impact pass rusher in the fifth round of the draft, but it looks like that’s what the Chicago Bears just did with rookie Dominique Robinson.
The Miami (OH) product made quite a splash in his regular-season debut, tallying 1.5 sacks in Sunday’s upset win over the San Francisco 49ers.
Robinson’s performance is even more impressive considering he often lined up against All-Pro tackle Trent Williams, even beating him for one of those sacks.
While the Bears are sure to miss Khalil Mack after trading him away, it looks like they’ve found themselves a Day 3 gem in Robinson, who is already making a big impact at the next level.
