Bears quarterback Justin Fields keeps making NFL history.
In the same game where Fields broke the franchise’s single-season rushing record for a quarterback, he also hit the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the 2022 season.
Fields is only the third quarterback in NFL history to rush for 1,000 yards, joining Michael Vick and Lamar Jackson. Vick rushed for 1,039 yards in 2006 while Jackson has hit the 1,000 mark twice (1,206 in 2019 and 1,005 in 2020).
With the one-yard rush, Fields becomes the third quarterback in NFL history to rush for 1,000+ yards in a single season, joining Lamar Jackson and Mike Vick. Jackson has done so twice with 1,206 yards in 2019 and 1,005 in 2020. Vick accomplished the feat in 2006 with 1,039 yards.

Jackson holds the single-season rushing record for a quarterback with 1,206 yards, which leaves Fields 206 yards shy of tying Jackson’s record.
It’s been a record-setting season for Fields, who also set the single-game rushing record for a quarterback with 178 yards against the Dolphins back in Week 9.
