The Chicago Bears new coaching staff is starting to fill out under Matt Eberflus. To fill the wide receivers coach role, Eberflus went with New York Giants receivers coach Tyke Tolbert.
Tolbert, who will also serve as passing game coordinator, is one of the best receivers coach in the NFL, so this is an important hire for the Bears. While it’s quick to look at the struggles of the Giants and assume otherwise, Tolbert got the most out of guys like Sterling Sheppard and Darius Slayton.
