Beannchor Group reopens Belfast's Bullitt Hotel rooftop bar after March fire

Beannchor Group has reopened the rooftop bar of its Bullitt Hotel in Belfast in the wake of a fire earlier this year.

Known as Tetto, the new bar will replace Babel and has been developed as part of a £1 million renovation of the site since the fire in March. It reopened the hotel and downstairs bar and restaurant in August.

Beannchor Group, which owns around 50 pubs, hotels and restaurants across Northern Ireland including The Merchant Hotel and the Little Wing pizza chain, said the new bar will serve “fresh local seafood with an Italian accent”.

“After the fire in March, we had to carry out significant restoration work and decided to use this time to completely renovate the entire rooftop bar, garden and restaurant,” he said. “During the seven-month closure, we invested £1million and have given Tetto a completely new design and feel with a carefully curated food and drink menu to match its modern vibe.”

Mr Wolsey said the hotel’s jobs were protected during the closure and that “a number” of new roles have been added.

“The whole team’s jobs were protected throughout this closure along with creating a number of new full-time positions. We are delighted to have everyone back and ready to welcome customers through the doors of Tetto.”
