A smiling Johnny Depp was greeted by fans as he appeared in Glasgow ahead of his gig with Jeff Beck tonight.
The actor arrived in the city during the early hours of this morning, when he was seen being ushered into the Dakota Hotel by his security team.
Depp emerged from the back door of the hotel this afternoon and was greeted by a number of fans.
The 58-year-old was beaming as he posed for pictures and signed autographs in the car park before heading off.
Showbiz reporter Bev Lyons was one of the lucky people who caught a glimpse of the actor.
She said: “It was great to see Johnny. He had lots of security around him and he didn’t say much, but he was really smiley and happy to meet some fans.”
Depp is scheduled to perform alongside Jeff Beck at sold out show at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow this evening.
The pair have already teamed up during shows in London, Sheffield and Newcastle.
The Hollywood star's appearance in Glasgow comes just days after he won his libel case against his ex-wife Amber Heard on Wednesday.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star was awarded compensatory damages of $10million (£8 million) and a further $5 million (£4 million) in punitive damages by a jury yesterday.
The actor sued the Aquaman star over an article which was titled: “I spoke up against sexual violence - and face our culture’s wrath. That has to change.”
The piece made no mention of Johnny Depp by name, yet his lawyers said it falsely implied he physically and sexually abused Heard while they were together.
Heard also won $2m (£1.6m) after the jury found that she was defamed by a lawyer of Depp when he called her abuse allegations a hoax.
He chose not to hear the verdict in person and instead he went out for drinks with Jeff and fellow musician Sam Fender in Newcastle.
