'Be careful': warning as ex-Marist brother jailed

A former Marist brother and teacher escorted off to prison for abusing a student in his religious robes has been heard expressing shock at his predicament.

Cyril Alfred Hughes was taken away by sheriffs at Parramatta District Court on Friday, 40 years after molesting a teenager in the office of a Marist Brothers college in Sydney's west.
