JAIPUR: Four people, including a Block Development Officer (BDO) and two sons of an independent MLA, were arrested on Saturday for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 5 lakh in Rajasthan's Alwar district. According to an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) spokesperson, BDO Netram posted in Rajgarh, and sons of independent legislator Kanti Prasad Meena from Thanagazi constituency Lokesh Meena and Krishnkant Meena, and Jaipratap Singh had demanded a bribe of Rs 9 lakh to clear outstanding bills of Rs 14 lakh of the complainant.
MLA Kanti Prasad Meena, however, has alleged that his sons have been framed.
