BCCI cracks whip, makes domestic matches mandatory for players, limits families' stay on tours

NEW DELHI: In a major development in Indian cricket, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday made players' participation in domestic matches mandatory for selection in the national team.

The board also announced a slew of restrictions, including cuts on personal staff and families' stay during tours.
