NEW DELHI/DEHRADUN: The Indian cricket board (BCCI) decided to airlift injured India player Rishabh Pant from Dehradun to Mumbai for surgery on Wednesday. Pant was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai late in the evening.
Pant, who was involved in a car crash, was undergoing treatment at Dehradun's Max Hospital since Dec 30. TOI has learnt that BCCI and its panel of doctors got in touch with the hospital administration in Dehradun on Tuesday night and it was decided that the India wicketkeeper would be taken in an air ambulance to Mumbai for further treatment.
