(Picture: PA Wire)The BBC will air both Paddington films in a “special broadcast” before the Queen’s state funeral on Monday September 19.
The first Paddington movie will air on Saturday September 1 and its sequel on Monday evening, after the Queen’s state funeral.
Since the Queen’s death last week, people across the country have been remembering many of her beloved moments, including the recent sketch she took part in with Paddington Bear as part of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations earlier this year.
Numerous mourners have been leaving teddy bears of the character and marmalade sandwiches among the tributes to the Queen. However, members of the public have been instructed not to do so.

When is the BBC airing the Paddington films?
The first film, which came out in 2014 starring Ben Whishaw as the voice behind Paddington, will air at 7pm on Saturday on BBC1 and BBC iPlayer.
The sequel, which premiered three years later, will air at 6.50pm on Monday.
Last year the sequel became the best reviewed movie of all time on the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, with a 100 per cent score.
StudioCanal has since confirmed that Paddington 3 is in the works.
What is Paddington about?
Paddington follows a young bear who migrates from the jungles of “darkest Peru” to the streets of London, where he is adopted by the Brown family.
A taxidermist hears of the arrival of Paddington and attempts to add him to her collection.
In the sequel, Paddington finds himself happily settled with the Brown family and finds a pop-up book he is planning on buying for his beloved aunt’s 100th birthday.
However, a thief steals the prized book and Paddington embarks on an epic quest to unmask the culprit before Aunt Lucy’s big celebration.
The movies are based on Michael Bond’s 1958 book A Bear Called Paddington.
