BBC Three launch line up includes RuPaul's Drag Race UK, Mood, Gassed Up, The Drop, Eating With My Ex, Lazy Susan and Fleabag

BBC Three will be back on our screens live from 7pm on Tuesday, February 1.

Six years ago, the channel was removed and sent to a new home online, but all that is being reversed and the new line up has been revealed.

In 2016, the channel was moved online to attract a younger audience but BBC Three shows have proved so popular that the decision has been made to bring the channel back with a live schedule.

Fiona Campbell, BBC Three boss, says: "This is a big moment, with the new channel providing a destination for young audiences to discover more content on the BBC."

BBC Three will have drama, comedy, entertainment, documentaries, news and sport.

BBC Radio 1 Launch Party

The festivities will begin with a party, naturally.

BBC Radio 1's Greg James and Clara Amfo will be joined by Big Zuu and Zara McDermott.

RuPaul's Drag Race UK

Next, up the wait is finally over.

RuPaul is taking Drag Race UK to the next level. Nine world-renowned Drag Race queens take to the world stage to battle it out for the crown.

With the UK as host nation, the series will see iconic queens from different franchises and cultures competing in an international arena, showcasing their country's finest drag in their bid to become the Queen of the World.

Eating With My Ex

Famous ex-couples will reuinte in a double bill of this popular and awkward dating show where you meet up with your ex for dinner.

First it's Chloe Veitch and Kori Sampson, followed by Bethan Kershaw and Callum Izzard.

Mood

Mood (BBC)

Mood is a ground-breaking new drama from Nicôle Lecky based on her hit Royal Court show, Superhoe. Told in part through the songs she creates, Mood follows Sasha, a 25-year-old wannabe singer and rapper. Sasha dreams of being a major recording artist, but right now she's a bedroom artist: spending her days smoking weed and stalking her ex-boyfriend on Instagram.

When she is kicked out of her family home, Sasha is forced to fend for herself, sofa-surfing until she moves in with party girl Carly, who introduces her to the exciting world of social media influencing. But as the gap between her online presence and her dream of being a singer continues to grow, Sasha finds herself struggling to escape a world that is more complex and darker than she could have imagined.

Hungry For It

Hungry for It (BBC)

Hungry For It is presented by Stacey Dooley, chef and rapper Big Zuu, and personal chef to the stars Kayla Greer.

It's a competitive crash course in how to make it in the hospitality industry and the series gives aspiring cooks from all over the UK a chance to skill up and put their talent to the test, with one amateur cook winning a life-changing industry prize.

Gassed Up

Rapper Mist goes head-to-head in a high-octane challenge against a celebrity - supported by expert driver and Drift Queen Becky Evans, professional BMXer and prankster Ryan Taylor and supercar dealer Rob Kelly.

The Drop

The Drop invites some of Britain's most promising up-and-coming creatives to enter their streetwear brand into a life-changing competition. Filmed in Manchester, the series will capture the cultural synergy between fashion, music, sport, celebrity and business.

Clara Amfo will host the show and Grammy Award-winning artist Miguel will lead the judging panel.

Africa Cup of Nations

BBC Three will be hosting live football, with both the semi-finals and final of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on free-to-air television. The huge tournament featuring 24 national teams based in Africa is hosted in Cameroon this year and the three matches all kick off at 7pm.

Coverage will be fronted by Jermaine Jenas and audiences can tune in to watch full games live from kick-off when the channel begins broadcasting from 7pm. To watch full match coverage including the build-up, audiences can choose to watch live from 6.30pm on the BBC Three page on iPlayer.

Fleabag

The brilliant show, written by Pheobe Waller-Bridge, is one we could watch on repeat, forever.

Life and Death in the Warehouse

Inspired by the real-world accounts of warehouse workers from many different companies in Britain and around the world, this factual-based drama from BBC Factual tells the fictional story of warehouse worker Alys, whose childhood friend Megan joins the same distribution centre as a trainee manager. In a desperate attempt to keep her new job Megan presses pregnant Alys to get her ‘pick rate’ up putting Alys and her baby at risk.

From the BAFTA-winning team behind Killed By My Debt and Murdered by My Father, Life and Death in the Warehouse is an authentic exploration of working conditions in distribution centres, a world shrouded in secrecy where warehouse workers are subjected to a gruelling work regime and obsessive monitoring.
