The Wheel viewers were in tears after a player landed the show's biggest ever amount.
Michael Mcintyre returned to host another edition of the BBC programme tonight. The comedian welcomed a new batch of contestants and celebrities, who each came with their own specialist subject.
Melfred was the last to compete on the show and proceeded to put in a superb performance. He was aiming to win £96,000, which the host confirmed was the show's biggest ever prize.

Melfred opted to go for Loose Women star, Gloria Hunniford, for advice with the last question. The decision was controversial with fans on Twitter as Gloria was the lowest ranked expert on the show.
Melfred was asked: "What is Jupiter's Great Red Spot?" The player was confident and showcased superb knowledge to correctly answer storm and take home the record breaking amount.
