BBC The Wheel: Chris Moyles credits Hollywood girlfriend for six stone weight loss

DJ and presenter Chris Moyles is returning to our screens on Saturday for BBC's The Wheel with Michael McIntyre.

The 49-year-old was best known for his work on BBC Radio 1 for 15 years, with nine of those at the helm of the Breakfast Show. But, 10 years ago, his tenure came to an end as Nick Grimshaw took over the coveted breakfast spot.

More recently he endured a three-week stint in the I'm a Celebrity... Get Me out of Here camp. During one episode of the gruelling reality show he said the end of his time at Radio 1 left him feeling "a bit cross", because it was handled "badly".

The DJ joined Radio X in 2015, hosting the new Chris Moyles Show. The programme is still going strong, airing from 6.30-10am on weekdays, with an additional pre-recorded show from 8-11am on Saturdays.

A few years ago, Chris decided to make a huge lifestyle change and has now lost an impressive six stone. The former Radio 1 DJ weighed 18 stone at his heaviest, but after changing his lifestyle, Chris now weighs 12 stone. The star credits his girlfriend Tiffany, whom he started dating in 2015 after moving to Los Angeles during a career break, for helping him lose weight.

They became an item in 2015 but kept their relationship quiet for almost two years. Moyles and Austin made their first public appearance together at Jamie Oliver's now-closed Barbecoa restaurant in London's Piccadilly.

Austin left LA to make the big move to the UK and they now live together in London, the Express reports.
