BBC The Traitors fans turn on Wilfred as favourite Amanda Lovett is booted off show

Things have turned rather bitter within The Traitors camp with fans turning on Wilfred Webster just days before the final after he threw Amanda Lovett 'under a bus'.

The hit reality programme returned to BBC One Scotland on Tuesday evening for the popular series' final week.

Host Claudia Winkleman picked both Wilfred and Amanda during the very first episode, and the pair had been working greatly as a team.

However, Wilfred did start to gather his suspicions and told Faithfuls that he has "suspicions" about Amanda because "no one has suggested her name yet".

But despite Amanda being the bookies' favourite to win the show, she was 'murdered' tonight, which means she was voted off the show by her fellow contestants.

And fans really are not happy about tonight's result with one saying: "Wilf could not survive being a traitor with Amanda!! He's such a snake."

Another added: "Wilf is such a snake. Plotting against Amanda!!!!"

Wilfred appears to have lost fans (BBC)

A third person posted: "I think Wilf is dead without Amanda ironically."

While a fourth social media user said: "Oh Wilf, you've sentenced yourself to lose the game. You need Amanda to win."

"Oh Wilf This is gonna backfire on you," someone else said.

Wilfred is now the only Traitor left, and he's been asked to pick someone else to join him, but there's a twist. They either have to agree to join Wilfred, or face being 'murdered'.

The Traitors continues on BBC One Scotland and BBC iPlayer on Wednesday, December 21 at 9pm
