BBC The Apprentice reaction as Glasgow's Reece Donnelly 'should have been fired', say viewers

Things did not go quite to plan for Reece Donnelly during the latest episode of The Apprentice.

The Glaswegian, is currently appearing on the BBC show which kicked off this month. And hoping to impress is of course, Reece himself.

However, it seems that the 25-year-old has struggled a little in recent episodes, finding himself back in the boardroom for the second time in a row during Thursday night's show.

It followed a task in Brighton where the contestants were sent to the seaside town to secure nine items synonymous with the area, with Denisha Kaur Bharj as Project Manager for team Apex.

The Glaswegian entrepreneur was part of that team who sadly lost the challenged, with members of the losing team being in the firing line.

The Scots man was accused of not listening during the all important phone calls and misinterpreting what was being said. Despite Denisha bringing back Reece and Mark into the boardroom, it was her who was fired.

But people on social media didn't agree with Lord Sugar's decision with many saying she should have stayed and the Glaswegian should have been sent packing instead.

One said: "Denisha was the wrong choice, both mark and Reece caused them to fail."

Another added: "Reece should have gone!"

"Feel sorry for Denisha. Mark got lucky but Reece should have gone. He got told straight away Sahara desert roses weren’t flowers but insisted on ringing another 12 florists." said a third.

The Apprentice returns to BBC One on Thursday at 9pm, alternativley, you can watch it on BBC iPlayer.
