It's Week Seven of The Apprentice, and only nine candidates currently remain in the running to become Lord Sugar's next business partner.
It's 4am and the telephone is once again ringing away. The 'entrepreneurs' are summoned to Here East, in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London for their briefing with the big man himself.
Whilst waiting at the technology and innovation hub, their jaws consecutively begin to drop as Lord Sugar rocks up - not in his usual slick all-black limo - but in a spaceship-looking driverless bubble known as a Pod.
I wonder what's coming next...
"More and more companies around the world are looking to invest in greener vehicles," the business magnate explained. "And these things may well be the solution.
"So, I want you to design your own driverless vehicle."
The competing teams were handed the task of creating a brand as well as hosting a launch event to promote their creation and pitch their Pod to potential clients from the worlds of leisure, transport and sport. Corporate customer meetings were also arranged for the candidates.
"The team that secures the most orders will win and...," say it with me!, "on the losing team, at least one of you will be fired."
The groups were then once again shaken up as Kathryn Louise Burn was moved across to Team Diverse and Brittany Carter shuffled along to join Team Infinity, but who'd throw themselves in the firing line by becoming project manager this week?
Despite six-time-loser and car enthusiast Akshay Thakrar excitedly putting himself forward for Diverse, the team voted for Sophie Wilding to represent them due to her 'experience' with interior design...
But how will her suggestion of an 'ultra-Instagram-able' red-green 'wow-screaming' party Pod play out in the board room?
A unanimous decision on Team Infinity meant that tech wiz Akeen Bundu-Kamara would be steering them this week, however his initial suggestion to create a sustainable taxi car was immediately squashed by Aaron Willis who pledged for simplicity.
He then moved Harpreet Kaur from the branding team, where he'd originally placed her, to the corporate side of the task when she asserted that's where she should be.
Akeem! Didn't Lord Sugar JUST tell you to be more assertive?!
On his branding team, Britney and Aaron go with the eco-friendly name, 'BeePure' and complimenting leaf logo, but what exactly has that got to do with driverless cars? Your guess is as good as mine.
The interior of the vehicle however, as designed by the PM himself and assisted (more like, led) by Harpreet, seems arguably simple and sleek - exactly the opposite of the bright blue sunflower-covered exterior designed by the branding team.
Left with the responsibility of branding Team Diverse's celebratory experience, Kathryn and Akshay go with the very questionable name, 'Starpod', and bizarre matching logo which Karen Brady describes as an exploding toaster.
With the interior of their car resembling Barbie's dream house - pink seats, red carpet, glitter walls, starry ceiling, mini fridge and karaoke machine - Lord Sugar's aide appears more than unimpressed...
...as were both sets of corporate clients who each had a budget of ONE MILLION POUNDS to spend on the cars.
The "quirky and niche" party Pod received an embarrassingly low order of just FIVE £6,000 vehicles, and the eco-friendly taxi, an even worse, FOUR.
And if that didn't have you cringing in your seats, Akshay and Nick Showering delivering their launch event pitch suited in matching glitterball tuxedos and sunglasses certainly will.
You don't want to miss this week's boardroom showdown however, which will see one team totally annihilate the other, doubling their total profits and making over ONE MILLION POUNDS in orders!
Whose time is up? Tune in to find out.
