BBC Strictly viewers concerned as Dianne Buswell breaks down during show

The Strictly Come Dancing dance-off can be a nerve-wracking experience for all involved, but one person who seemed to particularly struggle during Sunday's show was pro dancer Dianne Buswell. The Australian, 33, and partner Tyler West, 26, danced to the Doctor Who theme tune during the dancing show's celebration of the BBC.

Despite this, the pair were made to wait until the end before their names were called out by host Tess Daly as being 'safe'. During the nail-biting moment, viewers noticed that Dianne was crying - a testament to how nervous she was to go home.

In recent weeks, Tyler and Dianne's dances have proved to be a hit among the judges, with the couple securing the first 10s of the series. Luckily for the pair, it was not their turn to go home and instead, Jayde Adams and Karen Hauer lost their place in the competition.

Dianne appeared to be in tears during the tense moments (BBC)

The Mirror reports how viewers instantly noticed that Dianne was crying during the tense moments and flocked to social media to share their thoughts. "Dianne crying OMG I'm literally crying with her #strictly," one person wrote.

A second commented: "Lads, is poor Dianne okay? I feel like she needs a hot bath and a cuddle. #Strictly #scd." And a third said: "Dianne looked like she was going to be sick #Strictly"

"Dianne heavy breathing bless her, can they stop leaving her to last! #strictly," stressing how this had happened to the pro dancer in previous weeks.

Tyler and Dianne survive to dance another day and this week, the couple will celebrate Halloween week. Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One on Saturday, October 29 at 6.50pm.
