Maisie Smith was given a special surprise by her boyfriend Max George during their date at the cinema, but it didn't exactly go to plan. The Wanted star Max, 34, had planned a romantic gesture to ask the actress, 21, to move in with him - but Maisie ended up being left in hysterics.
The couple announced their relationship back in September 2022 months after rumours began circulating about their romance. Maisie and Max first met in 2020 when they appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, with Maisie partnered with Kevin Clifton and Max paired with Dianne Buswell.
The former EastEnders actress, who played Tiffany Butcher in the BBC soap, grew close with the boyband singer during their stint on the Strictly Come Dancing live tour last year. Maisie wasn't on the original line-up for the tour but stepped in to replace TV presenter AJ Odudu, who suffered a foot injury days before the Strictly final.

Max and Maisie have been public with their relationship over the last five months, and now it appears that they have taken their romance to the next level.
Sharing a video on TikTok with his 136,000 followers, Max revealed he had asked his girlfriend to move in with him. He gave his fans a glimpse of the special moment, which ended with Maisie in a fit of laughter.
The video began with The Wanted star going to a locksmiths get his house key cut as the caption appeared which read 'asking my gf to move in with me.'
He then shared a label which said 'Maisie's keys 2A' before putting it inside a bag of sweets at the cinema.
Max then shared that he was 'getting nervous' as he watched Maisie approach from afar wearing a cosy coat and earmuffs.
Holding a big bag of popcorn, the actress could then be seen giggling whilst she put her hand inside the bag and eventually pulled out her own set of keys to Max's home, before hugging her boyfriend.
But as sweet as the moment was, Maisie was in hysterics as Max then revealed in a caption 'she's laughing because we tried like 10 times and she kept picking sweets out'.
Max could then be heard saying: 'Is that a yeah?' as she nodded 'yes'.
In the main caption the singer joked 'Anyway it was the wrong key and she got locked out', alongside a love heart, house and key emojis.
