Eyebrows were raised as Strictly Come Dancing made its return on Saturday night and the new batch of celebrities maede their dancefloor debut. Coronation Street and Two Pint of Lager and a Packet of Crisps star Will Mellor and wildlife cameraman Hamza Yassin topped the leaderboard and tying with 34 points.
Landing at the bottom of the table was former Arsenal player Tony Adams and his pro dance partner Katya Jones with 15 points for their football themed routine. But some fans of the long-running BBC dance contest, judged by Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas, disagreed with the scoring.
One viewer branded the scores as 'sexist' after Loose Women panellist Kaye Adams got higher points than some of her co-stars, reports the Daily Express. Kendal tweeted: "Craig watching Kym, Tyler and Jayde before Kaye and scoring her higher than them all was an interesting choice…"

@Kolakube_5 said it was 'predictably chaos.' "Especially Craig scoring everyone 4 before inexplicably giving Kaye a 6?" she wrote. And @randomstuffxzxz asked: "Craig gave Kaye a 6?!? After giving everyone else a 4."
While Gary fumed: "Ffs how did Craig give Kaye a 6?!" @CasparPie asked: ""Why is Craig scoring Kaye and Richie more than Kym and Tyler?!" And @CR_twisted commented: "Sexist scoring much... Kaye got a better score?"
Other viewers complained that singer Matt Goss was 'undermarked' for his quick step. The Bros hearthrob landed only above Tony on the table with 20 points, just below Kaye with 21 points.
"MATT BEING BELOW KAYE EHHH," Joey tweeted as @Thequeenofthev1 said: "Still 5, lower than Kaye and James which is just ridiculous." And @festinagirl said: "Matt Goss criminally undermarked - worse than the Loose Woman? I think not."
Motsi applauded Kaye for her "control and composure". "Just standing there looking so elegant," she praised before adding: "You got together... a bit of a mistake, the nerves took over. But we saw so much potential."
The star was cheered on in the audience by Loose Women co-stars Nadia Sawalha and Jane Moore. @MillieSansoye tweeted: "Sorry but how great does Kaye look? Stunning!" and @mathwiz277 praised: "Kaye and kai- 6. She took me by surprise. Great chorgraphy by kai. She just needs to gain more confidence."
@nickh175 thinks she will go far, commenting: "Ellie, Matt, Fleur & Kaye are the celebs I think will get in to finals." And @BeddoesJill said: "Oh my gosh I feel for Kaye. Nerves took over. She looked lovely. I certainly couldn't do it."
